Reading Some Great Books
>> 24 August 2010
So...I just finished God According to God. A great read! I encourage it to anyone who likes to relate the physics of the cosmos to the creation set in motion by our God. It's definitely a bit of a technical read discussing everything from quantum physics, to energy degradation, and microbiology, but it gives great evidence in our physical world that we are not animals of evolution, but rather perfectly, fearlessly, and wonderfully made creatures. In this book, even Nobel prize winning physicist agree that something metaphysical is responsible for the big bang and the instant that empty space went from having nothing to having life. God has fine tuned His ENTIRE universe so that we may live. Wow!
I am now onto a rather interesting book. Please do not be alarmed by the title, "Satan an Autobiography" written by a Kabbalist Rabbi. I'm about halfway through the book and it is a great reminder on how Satan weasels his way into ones life…through ego and pride. It's a book that makes you take a look in the mirror and consider where The Adversary (or Satan) has a hold in your life….More to come.
